1. Project Director (Maternity cover)

Contract Type: Maternity cover (six months)
Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 35 Hours Week

We are looking for a freelance Project Director to lead the team as maternity cover for an initial 6 month period (with the possibility of extension and potential of Championship role in due course).

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Project Director to continue the planning of the 2022 Championships, offering an opportunity to shape a unique and prestigious, world-class major international sport event.

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and continue to drive the work of the LOC and the Board and who knows how to stage an event from the inside out. You’ll have first-hand experience of delivering a high profile sports event and have a great overall understanding across all functional area delivery and governance overview.

2. Media Operations Manager

Salary: Up to £25,000
Closing Date: 7 July 2021
Working Hours: Flexible

The LOC for the World Gymnastics Championships Liverpool 2022 is looking to recruit an individual to plan and deliver Championships time media operations and services to written press, photographers and non-rights holding broadcasters, working as part of the LOC and in collaboration with its stakeholders, particularly FIG.

The operations and services of WGC2022 will consider the FIG published guidelines and recommendations while placing great emphasis on attracting the most professional and impactful journalists and photographers to achieve maximum coverage and offering a world-class provision for all media stakeholders.

3. Workforce Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000
Closing Date: 11 July 2021
Working Hours: Flexible

The Local Organising Committee for the World Gymnastics Championships 2022 is looking to recruit a freelance Workforce Manager to lead the workforce requirements for the event and the development, launch and delivery of an inspiring and innovative Volunteer Programme for the event to attract a talented, diverse and engaged Voluntary Workforce to support the staging of a world-class Championships.

The individual will be accountable for the successful development, management and delivery of all aspects of the programme including stakeholder engagement to set role requirements and descriptions; campaign launch; recruitment and selection; training and management; and all associated operations of a Volunteer Workforce estimated to be 600-stong.
